28.09.2009 IFA Addendum

At this year's IFA, we were able to show our prospective customers the following new products coming soon:

Store 'n' Share

Store 'n' Share offers Casablanca users for the first time the possibility of an externally connected (USB) hard drive with Bogart as an extension to the internal hard drive. The Edit Store 'n' Share can save your projects directly on the external hard drive.

Save a project on an external hard drive so that you can also connect to other Casablanca Bogart systems (provided that Store 'n' Share is active on both) to modify the project further. Care needs to be used on the respective systems (in the project effects) as both would need the same Effects installed and activated.

In conjunction with HD backup, you can also use the external hard drive to back up your internal hard drive. You can restore a project at a later date as a working active project. Store 'n' Share is also in preparation for Smart Edit.

Photo Studio 3

We extend the already impressive capabilities of Photo-Studio 2 with a new third dimension. Camera movements can be added with 3D Photo Studio as in three-dimensionally, in space. In addition, titles can be provided with text and photos can be scanned using a scanner it Bogart (USB).

Caladan for Bogart

The popular Smart Edit Caladan program for designing and printing (DVD covers and CDs or DVDs) is now available for Bogart.

Columbus 3

In version 3, Columbus is now available in Bogart form and offers the normal SD and now full HD support for your video projects. But there's more - Columbus 3 has also gained a lot of improvements;

Multi-monitor support
1 screen Solutions: VIDEO, VGA and DVI
2 Screen Solutions: VGA-VIDEO and VGA-DVI)
Include pictures using the image pool.
Inclusion of scenes using the scene pools.
Multi-line text on key points including alignment of the text (left, center, right)
Texts on key points can now be faded in/out at runtime, or are only displayed.
Key objects can now be faded in/out at runtime, or are only displayed.

Head objects can now be speeded up or slowed down at each stop so gentler movements to and from the breakpoints are possible.

Line settings can now be changed from key point to key point in color and line style.

Various 'travel' sections may be contrasting colours.

The lines can now be turned off completely for a section.
All objects, texts, pictures and scenes can now be backed with a shadow.

When the camera is now also the function "static," concluded the customer can set any segment of the map for the entire route.

The distance can now be traced with any color. This is then the Route line painted over.

Improved output quality

Now available the free use of other objects is possible - 3D objects, text, images and scenes can be positioned independently of the route on the map freely. These can be linked to the key points as needed and also faded in/out.

XXL Maps

The XXL Maps includes maps to all five continents and a world map. The maps are again significantly larger and therefore more detailed than the already known BIG maps.

FlagX

FlagX includes a large number of high-quality, animated background, flags and placards identifying are of variable sizes (like a mask that can be freely placed on the video material).

Among the objects we  have laid great emphasis on a wide range of applications that can be used in combination - Columbus or titling etc. Since all the animations are stored in Casablanca Imagepool, they can also be manipulated. Now such an object can be easily changed to your desired color and perfectly adapted to the used background material. FlagX can be used both in SD and HD projects and it also supports 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.

Blu-ray Player Software

The Blu-ray player software allows the playback of commercial Blu-ray movies on the systems DVC2000 / 1000 and Casablanca S4100 / 2000 / Personal Edition. A Blu-ray drive is essential.

Errors and omissions excepted
