These are the most important changes in Bogart SE 1.2, since the previous version 1.1a (released on 08 May 2008). Many more smaller items have been corrected or improved, but may not necessarily be listed herein.

HDV
- The AVCHD import now supports further camera models.
- It is now also possible to import AVCHD data from a CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc.
- The picture quality of exported MTS format video has been considerably improved.

Various
- On the S-4000, the microphone input on the main board is now supported.
- When exporting to a DVD/Blu-ray disc, longer files can now be stored (in single files of up to 2 GB each).
- Various sometimes occurring problems with Ksebara have been corrected. Ksebara is now also installed and available after a new installation.
- Smaller items have been fixed in the Titler.
- During DV playback in VGA mode, the video is now also shown in a zoomed size if required.
- For the NTSC version (USA), some specific changes and adaptations were made.
