MacroSystem is happy to announce that the new version of Bogart SE will be shown at the IFA in Berlin. Apart from many improvements, this new version includes the “Media Manager”, which from now shall be a part of all S-range editors and “Ultra”-upgraded units. The “Media Manager” has the following features:

- clearly structured Archives sections
- export function (video and audio) in countless formats (SD and HD), e.g. in HD to - DivX FullHD, DivX 720p, H264 or MPEG2
- flexible film, music and photo import from USB stick, external hard-drives etc.
- CD/DVD player for playback of self-burned data
- network access for files in a local network PC (DHCP-capable ISDN or DSL router required)
- and more!

The new Bogart SE version incl. Media Manager will be available in September, following the IFA.

The update is free for S-4000 users.

Optionally, a DVD Player Set will be available. This allows for playback of commercial CDs and DVDs. Control of basic playback is possible with the trackball. However, the DVD Player Set also contains a high-quality remote control made from aluminium, with logical key layout and even the ability to learn and control other devices (TV, amplifier, etc.).

Note: The DVD Player Set is compatible with the S-2000, S-4000, S-4000 Pro and Solitaire Ultra. Renommee Ultra is not equipped with a remote reception. The T-units (portable models) can play media using the Windows playback features.
