The need for a fast, effective editing system is becoming increasingly important. The Solitaire, with its 3 Ghz processor represents the power horse in the Casablanca family of editors. With SMART EDIT 5, and the possibility of HDV projects, that need for speed is becoming even more important.

We are proud to give the Solitaire another performance injection, to make it the fastest Casablanca ever and indeed, possibly the fastest complete editing system ever devised. The Performance Kit is a mainboard replacement for current Solitaire users, sporting not only a 3.8 Ghz Intel processor but also a considerably more powerful bus system for processing and shifting huge chunks of data.
