In switching to modern mainboards from the PC market, it is possible to use Casablanca as a powerful PC, hand in hand with being a unique video-specific editing system with its own video hardware.

The Microsoft Windows Kit is available in 4 different version for:

-Gymnos / Renommee
-Renommee PLUS
-Solitaire
-Solitaire PLUS

The Kit contains the following:

-Renommee or Solitaire hard-drive sled
-250 GB hard-drive
-Microsoft Windows XP-Home Edition – preinstalled 
-Mouse and keyboard (optional)

The user simply replaces the SMART EDIT hard-drive with the Windows hard-drive to switch between a Casablanca and PC.
