Q: Control of my Casablanca Avio via the "Fellowes" trackball is very jerky.
A: The trackball may need cleaning. To do this, remove the ball by turning the plastic ring (around the ball) anti-clockwise. Wipe off the ball with a dry cloth. The rubber transport rollers inside the casing can be cleaned carefully with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

Q: Which keyboard can I use with the Avio / Prestige / Kron?
A: We recommend the PowerKey add-on. This keyboard/software combination not only allows you to type in titles, names etc, you can also use the software's features to access many unique keyboard-only editing functions (with the software installed only however). The MacroSystem keyboard that comes with the PowerKey software has adapted key prints and it also looks good with your Avio/Prestige/Avio. But other than that, almost any USB keyboard available from your computer dealer should work too.

Q: I've connected a computer monitor to the Avio via the VGA socket and I'm not getting a picture.
A: The VGA socket only is functional when the VGA-option software has been installed. It is an additional software for the Avio to provide a VGA signal at this output, enabling all menu images to be viewed at high resolution with a flicker-free picture on a VGA monitor, while the video images being edited are displayed full-screen on the video monitor or television set.

Q: How can I transfer photos from my digital camera's Smart Card to the Avio/Prestige/Kron?
A: Using the additional "Photo-Transfer" program, digital photos from any camera that stores images to the Smart Media type cards also used by us can be uploaded and edited into your films as stills.
