Installation notes:

- A system memory (RAM) of 64 MB is required to run SMART EDIT 3 on the Casablanca Avio.

- Many changes have been implemented in SMART EDIT 3. This means that the differences between it and existing Avio / Kron system software (e.g. SMART EDIT 2.4 or V1.10) are so great that when you install the software for the first time (!) you can only install it as a full installation, during which all of the data on the hard drive are deleted. A warning notice will inform you of this during the installation. If required, you should back up your existing footage on tape before carrying out the installation.

- If you are installing SMART EDIT 3 on a Casablanca system that already has DVD Arabesk installed, the Arabesk program that is compatible with SMART EDIT has be installed separatly from the SmartMedia card (like any other additional software product).

- You can install additional software from a CD / DVD only if DVD-Arabesk has been installed on your system.

- CD-audio tracks can only be imported from a CD if DVD-Arabesk hab been installed on your system.
